DEK Fishing was founded in 2023 by Adam Cochran and Russ Seale, two small town guys who grew up fishing the Tombigee and Black Warrior River in Demopolis, Alabama.
Adam and Russ have been fishing partners since 2018 and have won "Kings Of The River" in 2021 and 2022. They were also Anglers Of The Year in 2021 and Adam won the MLF Bass Fishing League in 2023. After fishing together for 5 years, they both realized there should be a more durable rod out on the market at an affordable price. They spoke with a manufacturer and after numerous phone calls and demo rods, Russ and Adam finally perfected the first DEK rod.
